Mascotte is easily one of the biggest names in rolling papers worldwide, and they’ve held that title since being founded as a cigar and cigarette factory in 1858. By the end of the Second World War, rolling papers were in high demand but the population was facing a restricted supply. The answer came from Frank Mignot, founder of Mascotte and Mignot & De Block. He discovered that Bibles produced in a publishing house in Limburg contained paper that was perfect for rolling cigarettes. Soon thereafter, Mascotte turned its focus to the ultra-thin rolling papers they have become famous for today.
